Welcome To The Raleigh Durham Cary Senior Games
The Durham Senior Games are quickly approaching and seniors from all over the state are getting prepared for this Olympic style event that is purposely designed to create the premier event for adults over 50 years old that are interested in staying healthy and proving it by competing for medals. The event is open to both men and women from across the state and no one that wants to participate is turned away.
Here in North Carolina, we are proud of the fact that we have the 2nd most active senior games community in the country. And as you can see below, only one other state beats us out for interest and participation. Our goal is to become the #1 most active state for seniors over 50 that are looking to stay happy, healthy and competing.
The 2017 Durham Senior Games is like no other senior games you’ve attended before. Participants actively compete in events that most people would assume are reserved for those under 50 years of age. Events like ice hockey, soccer, cycling, wrestling, football and rugby are complimented with softer sports like table tennis, croquet, swimming, basketball and the usual track and field events we are all so familiar with.

If you are an active adult over 50 years of age, this is your chance to compete on a level that no other seniors compete on, make lifetime friends and show the world that it’s not over until you win!
